Hello from the Holiday Queen of Asia!

Hello dear Blogging friends, I am sorry it's been so long. I'm at the end of a massive fest of holidays and I'm ending on a high.

At the top of the world no less. Just look at this picture of Mount Batur, Indonesia which I took earlier this morning. I hope wherever you are in the world, your sunrise was as beautiful!

Dawn at Mount Batur, Bali
Let me just start by sharing my office with you. Here it is overlooking the paddy fields of Bali, somewhere between Denpasar and Padang for those in the know.

We are quite remote here and the hotel says don't blame them the internet is down, it's their provider!

So I had to go exploring the area and find some decent Internet cover. The dog is my new companion at the street bar I found with the Internet. Isn't this the most perfect office for the day? Who care's there is no WIFi at the resort.

Little Wandering Wren office, Bali, Indonesia
I've been doing a tour of paradise locations of the world. No, not really but this is what it feels like.

What would your paradise be like?
Songkran Holiday in Phuket
Do you want a beach holiday above?

Would you prefer a holiday with friends or a holiday with the family?

Below are some pictures from our Easter holiday in Pattaya, Thailand

Do you like to be with crowds and feel like there is a party atmosphere, or be more secluded?

Or would you like my third holiday this month the Fitcation?

The Monttra Pattaya near Jomtien Beach, Pattaya
The what do I hear you ask?

My Bali Fitcation is a lot of fun. Every day we have started with Group Training at 6.30am except today. Today we started at 2.30 am to walk up one of Bali's active volcanoes. We were really lucky and got a great sunrise. It was worth getting up at this time for sure!

Later in the day, I have Personal Training in the gym - I think I might be in need of a massage at the spa afterward. It's a tough life. Tomorrow I will do a yoga class to loosen up a few stiff parts of my body!

Have you ever been on a fitness holiday?

It's all go here!

Just a little sneak preview from my weekend...

After Songkran (Thai New Year) holiday, Easter holiday, Fitcation. I'm now back in Thailand where we are enjoying the King's Coronation holiday!

Thank you to those of you who have been joining me on my blogging from A-Z Challenge Around the World with Wren on Little Wandering Wren - Travels. I'm a little behind schedule on account of always being on holiday!

So far we have been to :
Lovely to see you here as always!

Love

I think your fitcation would kill me! But I'd love any kind of holiday -- and family, friends or solo is fine by me. Lots of beautiful colors, beautiful blue here. Biggest sigh. We'll hit that soon but not soon enough!

On another note, I put together the lovely lantern shade and I love it! I'll send you a photo or post one soon!

I’m breathless just reading of your flits here and there. And especially that Fitcation! I’m yearning for the mountains lately, maybe because i live near the sea. Anyway, we have some medical issues we’ve been dealing with last month and this so it’s not likely we are going anywhere for a bit but that’s the paradise where I’d head I could. Your photos are wonderful.
It's always fun to read your posts about your latest adventures. The photo of Mount Batur should be published as a post or greeting card!!

My goodness each time I come to your blog you are in another city, country or continent, lol ! I am glad that Google + doesn't exist anymore ! My husband is still in the rehabilitation clinic near Wavre that makes now 6 weeks. Don't know when he comes home. Fortunately the place is lovely !

I'm not peaky, any of the holidays will do! I would also trade my 4 walled office for yours.
I never had an organized fitcation (with planned classes and so on), but I have been wanting to do something like that. We are usually very active during our vacation, so I know it would be a lot of fun.
You are clearly having a great time, so please enjoy and keep posting so that we can dream about it :)

These are really awesome photos that make me want to travel! Personally, I enjoy just Hubby and me out for 3-9 days at a time.

Autumn Spice and everything nice!

Hey, what ever happened to Summer? I hope yours was lovely, mine was pretty amazing! It feels like my whole year has whizzed past in a flash, how about yours?  I've had a year of saying "yes" to everything offered to me. It has been exciting to put it out to the Universe to see where I should be. We feel very fortunate to be able to do this in my husband's early years of retirement. I'm just back in Asia from the US. I never feel my year is quite right without seeing British daffodils in the Spring and a pumpkin and the leaves turning in Autumn. Yay, the world nailed it this year, thank you.  Read on to find out what happened when my ultimate yes occurred on a trip to Montana to meet Ruth, an IG friend. I know Bloggers will smile and not be at all concerned, we've been meeting up around the globe for years, haven't we...?!  But let's just say some of my family and friends were, you're doing what?! But first some Little Wren updates! France I had so...

Taipei Adventures, naked - moi?!

I have to tell you all about my little adventure in Taipei recently, naked at the Hot Springs! I can't believe that I have never been to Taiwan, I certainly urge you all to go if you ever get the chance. For me, I loved the combination of influences of two countries I enjoy.  Street views from Downtown Taipei The Chinese left some interesting historical influences and stunning architecture, which combined with a Japanese legacy and efficiency in transportation, makes Taipei an easy place to visit, with so much to see. Nowadays, Taiwan has emerged as a thoroughly modern city, I loved my time there. It felt exotic and safe until I had to get my kit off. It was a spur of the moment decisions to join my husband on his Taiwanese business trip, prompted by the delay in the arrival of our furniture into Bangkok, and ‘no room at the inn’ where we had been staying. Given that I’m commitment and fancy-free in Thailand; there’s no job, no kids, no dog and absolutely nothing in ...

L'eau de toilette....

Our meals at The Serai were a huge part of the enjoyment of our stay. Lunch & dinners are marathon five course events...We tried not to over-order but even when we cut back to try to pace ourselves, Chef would send out little treats for us to try... If one person expressed an interest in a particular dish, we all got it.... Whenever someone ordered something we all got it.... ...although sometimes it took a quite a few attempts... 'Can you do oats, no milk?' .... 'Can you do ginger, hot water and some lemon, no milk?' We have an eclectic group of tastes from Miss ' Extra spicy ' to Miss ' Not too spicy ' through to Miss ' Vegetarian, no dairy ' , myself as ' Miss Recovering, extra careful and just wants soup. ...and even Miss India herself who every now and again just orders chips... So we can't leave without saying a huge thank you to the Chef for the best food that we have had so far.... We hear conflicting reports about whether th...
